At Pembroke Resources, strong communities and sustainable regional economies are the foundation of long-term stability and growth. We are committed to working alongside local partners to create lasting benefits that support the development, resilience, and future sustainability of the Isaac Region – well beyond the life of the Olive Downs Complex. Our community programs are designed to deliver meaningful contributions that strengthen local economies, enhance social well-being and ensure that regional communities continue to thrive for generations to come.
The Isaac Region is home to the people, businesses and services that support our operation. The Olive Downs Complex is closely connected to the communities of Moranbah, Dysart, Coppabella, Nebo and Valkyrie. We are proud to partner with these communities, investing in local job opportunities, regional suppliers, infrastructure, and essential services. Our Social Impact Management Plan (SIMP) guides this approach, ensuring that our commitments align with local priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term community needs.
Community Partnership Fund
Our $1 million, five-year Community Partnerships Fund directly supports initiatives that strengthen education, health, community infrastructure and social inclusion. Designed to be flexible and community-led, the fund ensures that local organisations can access funding easily and direct it to where it’s impact will be greatest.
Long-Term Commitment to the Region
Our approach goes beyond funding. The SIMP provides the framework for how we manage our social responsibilities, helping us to work closely with local councils, community groups and service providers to identify and collaborate on solutions to improve local liveability, infrastructure, economic growth and access to services.
By investing in people, infrastructure and community partnerships, Pembroke is committed to ensuring that the Isaac Region remains strong, sustainable, and connected – now and into the future.
